Saffransscones

In i mitten av ugnen i 12 min.
Låt svalna under bakduk.

Guys! I was so happy when I tasted these and realized that they are even better than the ones I made last year. These are way more juicy and taste exactly like saffron bread so have to share the recipe. In this recipe I also used 1 tsp vanilla sugar because I love the taste it gives. I used almond milk instead of oat milk because I can't taste the difference anyway but if you're not used to ''fake milk'' I think you'll find oat or soy milk taste better. I'll definitely make these again closer to christmas, big thumbs up!! :D

Saffron scones:
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
0.5 cup olive oil
0.5 g saffron
1 tbsp brown sugar or coconut sugar
1 cup oat milk

Preheat the oven at 250 degrees.
Mix flour with the baking powder and salt. Carefully pour the oil into the mix until there's no lumps.
Hit the saffron with the sugar in a mortar until it blends together nicely. Then, with the milk, pur everything into the flour mixture.
Sprinkle flour on the table and fastly knead the dough. Cut it into eight pieces. Roll every piece into a round ball then flatten it out a  little bit before you put them on a baking tray. Finally brush them with some milk and make small holes with a fork.
Place them in the middle of the oven for 12 min.
Take out and let cool under a tea towel.
